I talked this show up to my partner and we both left feeling a bit underwhelmed. There was a technical difficulty at one point in the show where the performance needed to be stopped, but I don't think it was related to the sound. We had to strain ourselves to hear the music properly and we were not that far back. My partner and I also found the sound quality was terrible. The songs are powerhouse songs and the singing fell short most of the time. This was my third time seeing the show and I felt the singing and sound quality was extremely below average for a musical of this caliber. I was honestly a bit disappointed in this version of The Lion King.

It was wonderful to see so many kids there too! It is spectacular! The costumes are beautiful! The choreography is superb! Worth every penny and a favorite.
